This is a list and description of the top five unbelievable fantasy series of record. I have left Lord of the Rings off of the list because it stands alone above perhaps these. The main conditions I used are recognition, longevity and length of series.

The Shannara collection by Terry Brooks – You’ll find currently twenty textbooks in the Shannara series and they are generally roughly broken down in to trilogies. It all began throughout 1977 with the release of the first book The Blade of Shannara. This compilation of books is often heralded because rightful heir to the Lord with the Rings. I have to agree 🙂 I read the first guide when it came out as well as fell in love with the actual series. The publications all take place in Shannara but cover a lot of time and many different characters. If you are considering an adventure into Shannara you probably should start with the first publication of the first trilogy Your Sword of Shannara. The 2nd book is The Elfstones associated with Shannara which is currently being converted into a major motion picture. The third book of the trilogy will be the Wishsong of Shannara.
The Wheel of Time series by simply Robert Jordan : This is a series of books that currently quantity eleven. The 12th and final book is scheduled to become out in the Fall of Last year and Robert Jordans passed away while working on it but he’d done extensive interviews and work with Brandon Sanderson who’ll complete it pertaining to him. It’s a ya fantasy book of books which is extremely large! The actual page count of each one book goes from 700 to 1100 web pages.
